Blog 128 – 29.3.20. Yes I know, it’s Sunday again…

Every day is turning into Sunday, both inside the house and outside. This morning, on a street deserted of moving cars (but lots of parked ones), I saw 2 large black crows communing, unharrassed, in the middle of the road…wandering about and shaking their heads in what looked like amazement. I couldn’t hear them exactly, but this is what I think I overheard:

What is going on? Where are they? said Crow A, I think they’ve run out of petrol…this is not normal. If this continues, we’ll be able to take over the show, said Crow B, excitedly. I’m suspicious, said Crow A…they’re planning something…I don’t like surprises. Yeah, said Crow B. Actually if this carries on we won’t get any discarded chips from the kids after school at 3.30pm…what will we eat?…worms? I haven’t hunted worms for decades. And the few people I have seen are almost running away from each other…weaving around the pavements and running into the road…it would be suicidal, if there were any cars. I know, I know! said Crow A. I reckon France must have sent container loads of wine as a Brexit leaving present – and they’re all drunk…or sleeping it off! They’ll be their usual manic selves in a few days…don’t worry.Β

I’m trying to collate as many of the videos/funny stuff I can find and I’ll post a few when I can. Of course many people will have seen lots of these as they do tend to do the rounds…but some are worth laughing at again:

Warning: this one contains quite a bit of swearing but is very important regarding the virus, I think:

And a non-virus one for harrassed mothers:

About aintwegotitmade

Who am I?.......well, I'm getting to that age where I have to think about that before I answer... My name is J, I'm married, and my husband and I live in the great city of London. I started this blog as an update to family and friends when I completely ruptured my Achilles tendon a few years ago (see The first post). I am so fortunate in every possible way...and in all honesty, I'm just using this blog to remind myself... Why is it called Ain't we got it made?: this is a line from one of my favourite songs (Sing Baby Sing - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtTgtkDLNys). Have I got it made? Well - I've got a roof over my head, running water right into my house, a fully-stocked supermarket round the corner, free and readily available healthcare; and I live with my lovely husband in a great city, in a beautiful country, where I feel safe and secure.... I rest my case. Fact or opinion: I am not an expert on anything… but I can confirm that everything in this blog is either fact or opinion. I hope to post regularly, mostly about things I find uplifting, positive, amusing, optimistic, important..or perhaps just about regular daily life...but I won't bother you too much. Thanks for stopping by... jx
