Blog 142 – 2.10.21…. get out there and grow bolder
Wooo…although about 35,000 people a day are catching covid in these parts (apparently the highest rate in Europe)…many are returning to some kind of post-pandemic normal. We are short of van/lorry/tanker drivers and the brexiters are probably biting their lips … Continue reading
Blog 125 – 14.12.19. Over to you God….
Strictly Come Dancing is one of my favourite TV programmes…guaranteed to make me feel good. Love seeing people blossom and move towards being their best each week.
Blog 117 – 26.7.19. I have confidence in me!
We have had the hottest July day on record folks…luckily in the UK that doesn’t mean we should panic…’cos the weather will change…quite quickly (tick)…and there will be rain (tick)…and thunder (tick)…
Blog 112 – 25.11.18. Dog day winter afternoon…
This is a day when I should have been feeling low. But somehow smiles managed to accidentally break out of me as I was coming home from church…and I got smiles back. I popped into a new local fashion boutique … Continue reading

Blog 107 – 30.6.18. And so we went…
And so we went….to Rutland. Never heard of Rutland? Good. We’d like to keep it that way. We escaped the building dust for a week by driving 2 hours or so north of London to England’s smallest county.
Blog 98 – 16.11.17. Edinburgh wheelchair adventure…..
On Monday this week, my mum and I went on an adventure. She’s 90. She looks after herself and is a very joyous person. Unfortunately, with me as her wheelchair pusher, she was in for a bumpy ride.
Blog 97 – 5.10.17. Camino Finale: finding the treasure, and a spanish Fawlty Towers*..
On arrival in Santiago, I looked out for Anna from Freiburg who I’d met a number of times and we agreed by text to meet later, near the Cathedral. I then spend the next 2 hours queuing to show my … Continue reading
Blog 96 – 3.10.17. Camino 5 – Off with her head?
On arrival in Arzua (only about 40Km left to Santiago!!), I find I am staying in the same place as Priscilla, a 60(?)-something Floridian lady born in Puerto Rico and now living in a 5 bed house, on her own….family … Continue reading
